Addicts Weekly Open Thread

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Due to POPULAR request….we’ve moving up our open thread time so that our friends outside of the US can participate too! Let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!

Now…enough rambling from me….it IS Sunday and you know what that means, right? Time for another Open Thread!

Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

So…here is your Open Thread. Act 2 just launched for Monorail, panicking yet? Don’t worry Sandra… Calendar coming just for YOU. 😛

I am really craving some good homemade treats and meals lately, any family recipes for a good meal/dessert you would like to share? Seen any good TV shows you would like to recommend? How about a good book to read? Do/Doing anything fun this weekend?

So chat about the Simpsons, TSTO, Update fun, or anything else you can think of! Can’t wait to chat with you all, you know we love hearing from you!

Monorail Act 2 Is Live

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Happy Sunday Morning! It’s just after 4am here on the East Coast and I’m on my way out of town….BUT Act 2 of the Monorail is now Live!

Remember…this is an automatic change in your game. Nothing to download, it should just start up in your game..

Just what does Act 2 have in store for us? Let’s take a look…

Bunny here taking over to update… Cletus will get things started with an autodialog, Worth a Shot Pt. 1. You will Place the Tetanus Terminal and any 3 Track Pieces for it. Previously placed pieces seemed to count in my game.

Side Note: Cobb starts out Phase 2, Cletus triggers the lil questline when you hit 5000 Duct Tape and the Terminal.

The End is Near for Monorail Act 1

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Just a little reminder that Act 1 of the Monorail is set to end tomorrow morning at 0800 GMT (4am EDT). So you’ve got a few hours left to collect those last minute blueprints and unlock the remaining Act 1 Prizes (for free).

So what will happen to the Act 1 Prizes when Act 2 hits? Well, like every event, we don’t know for sure. Our guess is they’ll at least be available for purchase via donuts…but we won’t know for sure what will happen until Act 2 officially starts. So do all you can, while you can.

Enjoy the rest of your Saturday Night and we’ll see you bright and early Sunday morning!

Addicts 2 Year Blogiversary Q & A Part 1

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Last week we celebrated our 2 year Blogiversary!! In continuing with what we did for our 1 year anniversary, as part of the celebration we gave you guys the opportunity to ask us anything you’d like with the promise that we’d answer your questions (or as many as we could). And as always you guys came through in a big way!

Because our Blogiversary is kinda a big deal to Bunny, Wookiee and I, we wanted to do something extra special to answer the questions. And it wasn’t easy, but we got all of our schedules together and created another Q & A video! Giving y’all another peek inside the craziness that is the Addicts….especially when Bunny, Wookiee and I get together. It’s Monorail time in Springfield! Yes, the Monorail is now in Springfield….as well as a whole lotta garbage. Loads of Springfielders can help collect junk from town…but one Sanitation Worker is introduced via the Act 1 Prize track to help you earn more junk in Springfield.

Ray Patterson is a character you can earn via the Act 1 Prizes to help with the event. And once unlocked he comes with his own questline. For those of you that have earned him already let’s take a look at his short questline now…

It’s Monorail time in Springfield! Yes, the Monorail is now in Springfield….as well as a whole lotta garbage. Loads of Springfielders can help collect junk from town…but one vegan introduced to help increase your rewards is Jesse Grass.

Jesse Grass is a premium character you can purchase to help with the event. He’ll cost you 100 donuts and if purchased he comes with his own questline. For those of you that made the purchase let’s take a look at his short questline now…
