My Opinion On it Now: I like this bar, mostly because of how it fits into my Springfield. Another one of those if you like it grab it. But honestly I’d rather you spend the 60 Donuts on an Elf Home over this. Final Thought: If you really want it, grab it. Otherwise pass.

My Opinion On It: These are fun to add around Springfield, and at 3 donuts each it’s not a bad decoration. Downside is it earns nothing. So if you’ve got a need for them, and would like to spruce up Springfield pick them up. Otherwise pass. Final Thought: Toss up
Item: Moe’s Exotic Petting Zoo Bundle. Includes: Moe’s Petting Zoo, Pig of Paradise Pen, Wooly Mammoth Pen, Land Octopus Pen.

I don’t see any of the returning Christmas stuff in the store. I was really wanting the Rubber baby buggy store. Any ideas why they aren’t showing up?
I’m so disappointed at the fact that they haven’t brought back the Grumple. It’s like everything from all of the past Christmases have made a return except for that. This is only my second Christmas, and there isn’t anything in the game that I’ve missed out on more than him
There’s still time… They’ve been releasing more stuff every day, so I think you should hold off on being disappointed until at least after Christmas.
I don’t have Bonestorm Santa and not sure where to get him? When I went looking for him, I found other characters I don’t have and not sure if this is yet to show up? There’s 2 founders (jebadiah & other founder) and another set called Homer the Heretic with Homer in his Robe, krustys Dad, and the preacher/Healer). Any news on them? Thanks for the help with Bonestorm.
The Ice God has a 20 donut rebate, so it’s essentially 10 donuts total for 2.25% bonus!

Last year, I didn’t have the donuts to get her; but this year I did so I bought the Babysitter Bandit. I also bought an Elf House. I already have the Ice God and Holiday Totem Pole.

The totem pole isn’t on my winter list in the game, I’ve gone to Krustyland & back to Springfield but it doesn’t show up. Any idea why???
The Ice God isn’t listed in the winter 2016 premium items either, is anyone else experiencing this issue?
It’s unique…are sure you don’t already have it, hidden behind a building or in your inventory or something? I know I have mine hidden behind a building because I didn’t really want it to show, but I wanted the bonus it gives. (Although, now that I have the Native American casino building, maybe I take it out of hiding and put it with that. Hmmm…hadn’t thought of that until now!)
I got it at the Christmas event a few years ago but I don’t see it eligible this year to purchase for donuts..

Check to see if it is behind a building or something else. It is a puddle in summer so you might have hidden it.
The totem pole isn’t made of ice, so it shouldn’t melt in the off season…

I didn’t realize they were offering the whole zoo thing as a set, because I already had Moe’s petting zoo. I’m happy that they still allowed folks who had that to buy the other pieces separately, which I did. It didn’t really take up that much space…I made a nice little zoo from just two land squares (plus a water square for the polar bear and otters exhibits), and that included two reindeer and the little pen I made to put them in! 🙂
And I don’t think I even realized that the pens had bonus %s associated with them when I bought them, so that was a nice plus! 🙂

The Duff Center Arena is one of those things… It’s just too expensive for my taste, also with the rebate, but I do really like the design. It just cracks me up and I think it’s a clever find. I can’t bring myself to get it because it’s just too much – like Springfield Gorge and that has animations – but it does pull at me every time it reappears. So who knows, perhaps some day in the future, if it goes down to a hundred, maybe. I can dream, can’t I?
I got the Murderhorn, as I need the tickets for the Krustofsky kid. So for 150 donuts, the mountain that gives 5% bonus to all jobs, plus a character, it’s not bad. Still a bit on the pricey side but! I love the yodling of the Murderhorn too so…. Cant afford baby sitting bandit now!
I’m tempted to buy the NPC just to complete the collections, even though they go straight into storage.
Ok. You win. Nothing about that makes any sense to me. LOL!

I just went crazy and spend over 500 donuts, I just hope not to suffer from buyers remorse a bit later lol… I bought two elfe homes (thx for the post Alissa), rubber baby, a reindeer, the snow monster (had to, considering it’s a character now), the nativity scene, the frozen castle (don’t not know if it’s a good deal, but the Martin’s skin was just a bonus), the two icebergs, the duff tree, the god ice and the totem were a no brainer, and I’m tempted to buy the duff arena and the snow globe but I will wait for the SIB post on the latter one. Busy afternoon shopping, I need to stop buying everything EA drops lol. Happy holidays to all!!!

Got the Snow Monster. I have a ceramic one in my home. Fave character from the Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Christmas special.
I like the way you think Alissa. I had already purchased one Elf home, and Rubber baby bumpers just before you posted this. I might get another Elf home. Seems like a great buy. I might yet buy the snow monster. I didn’t realize that he was a full character now, and I don’t think 70 doughnuts is too much to spend for a full character. Characters are pretty hard to come by these days except when an event is active.

I have such mixed feelings with this whole event and just tired in general. I got the weird message about getting bonuses with donuts but I can only buy one dozen donuts and there is no apparent bonus. Part of me is curious but part just is tired of caring…

EA?!?!?! What the $!@%? I’m so angry I can’t even play right now. I’ve always prided myself in being a completionist. There no way that anyone on a budget can afford this. $100 for a decoration? I didn’t do the math but it would cost about $200 for all these new things. I already bought my alloted number of scratchers for the week. My budget is literally Tapped Out.
You can spend $84 to get everything but the decoration (which I think is kinda lame)
The snow man and mansion each earn $200/8 hours. Probably still a bad buy, but they do bring some income.
I grabbed the ice statue, totem pole and one elf home. I expect I’ll buy another before they are gone, but I’m pacing my spending.
When I logged in, there was a message about a big donut sale, but now I can’t buy any except a dozen donuts with no bonus. Seemly like mucking up a donut sale at such a critical time is a big error for EA.

Okay, they updated the sale. That is a huge price tag for all the bonuses. Shelbey manhattan with 132 donuts for $7 CAD seems pretty fair.

EA JUST LOST their mind… They want us to spend what? Around $200 so we can have the Shelbyville set???? They could’ve REDEEMED theirselves for the x-mas screw up by doing the most epic update/event to build Shelbyville…. Disappointed doesn’t even start to explain how I feel right now, even if this was a console game, a full console/pc game it’d be what? $60 + a DLC of let’s say $30-$40??? $100 total spend on a console quality game, not a mobile game…. I do agree they have to earn money, but this is definitley out of their minds…. There, I said it… Now back to get Star Maggie and from the way things are looking, last year playing the game…

I understand that, but, and this is a big BUT, they could’ve just adjusted the requirements for bonuts leveling up, or think of other ways so donuts wouldn’t be that not-so-hard to come by (like what they did when house-farming got out of hand)… Anywho, I’m a little less stressed now than when I wrote the first comment, of course I’m gonna keep tappin’, just superdisappointed with this Shelbyville monkey business…

I just got the update that revealed something so disturbing and cruel. EA has decided to offer bonus characters and the like as prizes if you buy donuts. WTF WTF WTF?????? I have spent a lot of $ on this game over the years, I can’t say how much without shame because it is a lot. I will say that I have purchased every donut package at least once. I also have enough in game cash to farm donuts for the rest of my life bc I have been playing since the beginning and have acquired literally everything in the game. I am not thanked for all of the donuts I’ve purchased by giving me the bonus characters. Instead I’m “told” by EA that I must spend another $190 or so to buy approximately 3800 donuts to earn bonus prizes even though I have no need to ever buy another donut. I have already purchased thousands of donuts. This is really effed up EA. NOT COOL AT ALL. WHY SHOULD WE BUY DONUTS IF WE HAVE NOTHING LEFT TO PURCHASE AND ALREADY HAVE TONS OF DONUTS DUE TO THE EASE AT WHICH ONE CAN EARN BONUTS ONCE THEY ARE LEVEL 938 AND ALREADY OWN EVERYTHING IN THE GAME????!!!!!!??????!!!!!!?? I DONT GET IT. WHY IS THERE NO RETROACTIVE RECOGNITION FOR THOSE OF US WHO HAVE SPENT MEGA $$$ on this game??? I’m very saddened by this.

one would think they would have thought about that before taking away the way levels use to be (does that make sense lol). It’s too easy to level up. I liked it the way it was before when they introduced each level instead of all these events. Too much stuff is limited time

I don’t understand this rant…how is this any different than a couple of years ago when they had a Gil’s Deal offering donuts at a discount? Did that upset you, too? This is just a special deal where, if you buy donuts right now, they throw in a little gift. Anyone can buy donuts, so anyone can get this offer. I’ve never heard of any store that offered retroactive deals…why should this game be any different? If you don’t need to buy donuts because you get all you need from farming, then you’re already essentially getting tons of stuff for free, so why would this bother you?
This is different than what Alissa was complaining about with the vouchers, because, in that situation, EA made it impossible for certain players to participate. But that’s not the case here. So I really don’t understand why you think you’re owed anything retroactively…
