Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Update time in Springfield, and this time everything’s coming up Milhouse! That’s right, Bart’s blue-haired buddy is finally getting some attention! Loads of dialogue with this one, so be sure to read along to see what happens! And of course, I’ll be posting it as each week wraps up…

The Van Houtens Event follows the same event structure of the Multi-Events before it. This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting just over a week (10 days) and taking us through a new part of the event!

For Act 1 we’re tasked with collecting Party Hats! Each part of the story will unlock another prize themed for the first part of the story. So let’s take a look at the details behind Act 1 and the Turbo Tappin’ Version for Birthday Party for One…

App Store Update: The Van Houtens

ALERT: This is currently, as of this posting Tuesday night ET, an APP Store update only. The event is NOT live in-game. So please don’t ask why the update hasn’t started for you yet. It won’t go live in-game, even if you’ve downloaded the update, until Wednesday, August 12th at 11am ET, 1500 UTC.

Also, if you don’t see this update available in your app store try hard closing the store and reopening. Then do a search for Tapped Out. It may not appear in your “update” list right away.

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Well, it looks like while I was busy feeding, bathing, putting my kids to bed, and handling the constant “Mommy I need to go pee!” or “Mommy I need water!” or “Mommy I’m not tired!” calls coming from a certain 4-year-olds bedroom…it seems EA has released the next update in TSTO. Right on time, for a change.

This is currently an APP STORE update, and not live in games.

So who had a Milhouse family reunion in the TSTO update pool?

The Van Houten Event will start on Wednesday August 12th and 11am ET (1500 UTC).

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!

Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Thank Grog It’s Firday!

OK…I KNOW that right off the top, many of you think that I misspelled reckoning. But, I didn’t…because I chose to use a word that sounds like something, but can mean a whole lot of other things.

In this case, we are going to “recon” the “Tale of Bob,” to do our best to poke any holes in the logic, divulge any hints or tips about the future of the game, and otherwise, bring this tawdry (and Lemon Drop Soaked) tale to a conclusion. Mostly.

There’s that word again. “Mostly.” Like mostly dead…or mostly true. I have to admit, I love when a word says so much, without saying anything specific. There are LOADS of words like that…which we’ll get to in a bit. But, for now…let’s just concentrate on the word, “mostly.” Let’s do so, with a little “recon.”

Summer Games Mini-Event is Nearing the End…

Just a quick reminder that tomorrow (Wednesday, August 5th) marks the end of the Summer Games mini-event! So, if you haven’t already, finish up that prize track, purchase your last few premium items, and be prepared to see the mini-event leave our games tomorrow morning!
