Halloween Event Must Buy Guide

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers,

Well Halloween is almost over in Springfield. Once it’s gone on November 7th, the option to buy many of the Halloween décor will be gone! Poof just like that! They’ll disappear into the night never to be able to be purchased again…unless of course EA decides to bring them back next year for Halloween.

Whew that’s a lotta décor!

Confused about what you should purchase before it’s gone? Well here’s my advice. If you have the in game cash buy everything (except maybe the snarling Zombie) you can add a few of each (you can also store them). For example Bunny bought over 1,000 Jack-o-Lanterns, but she’s a little crazy. I’m not saying run out and spend all of your game cash on these Halloween decorations, but be sure you buy them before they’re gone. Trust me you’ll regret it in a few months if you didn’t purchase them. Plus, it’s part of your “battle scars” for playing TSTO. So next summer when new Tappers are coming into the game they’ll covet those Pumpkin Patches and Spooky trees because they can’t buy them.

As far as premium items go, check out our Should I Buy Guide (just click on the link under the premium item) to see if it’s something worth your hard earned donuts!

Remember the event ends Nov. 7th so be sure to purchase everything you need by Nov. 6th before it’s all gone!

Happy Shopping!

  1. I think, the item most players will miss is the Pumpkin Patch!

If you do harvesting/ housing with blue houses (are there any alternatives at level 36?), the nice fields match perfectly with blue houses to make the outskirts from your Springfield more likeable.

    SO, BUY EVERYTHING YOU CAN!!!

  2. 3 more donuts and I get Booberalla… Come on… Please…

  3. I was under the impression that the peanut cart was going to stay because it didnt say ‘limited’ underneath it in my store

  4. Since Valentine’s last year I always buy multiples of all the cash decorations and put them in storage. Some are still there, but a lot are used up by now, so with each new event I increase the number of items I buy. Not sure I will be able to use 50 Spooky Trees, but you never know 🙂
Donut-items I usually buy only once, though, even if you can get multiples.

  5. I initially assumed the Peanut cart was limited too, but at least on my game, it has no ‘limited’ banner below it.

Agree with hoarding some dead trees, or whatever limited decoration you like…
