Hey Addicts, Caption This!

Posted on November 24, 2014 by Alissa | 16 comments

Sometimes TSTO gives us humorous little moments when we capture our characters doing rather strange things. These posts are all about those strange and funny moments! Twice a week we’ll be posting a Caption This! moment where we want you, the Addicts readers, to put on your writing caps and come up with what you think is happening in the screenshot. Post your captions in the comments below. We can’t wait to see how creative and funny you guys can be!

Hey Addicts… Caption This!
(This week’s Caption This image was submitted by Addicts reader BenP)

If you’ve got an image you’d like to submit for a “Caption this!” post, email it to us at TSTOAddictsblog@gmail.com or post it on the Addicts Flickr page, you never know when yours might be next!

EA Servers Down

Posted on November 23, 2014 by Bunny | 31 comments

As many of you are already experiencing, there is an issue with EA servers. Some may be impacted. Others (much like myself) may not be.

If you are one of those impacted, hang in there while they work on it. In the meantime a LOT of EA access is down as well. Help and Support being a big one. That means NO Chat, Email, or Phone Calls for assistance right now. So hang in there.

For the rest of us, I do not know how far or wide this will spread, so use caution while in the game and watch your progress in case some is not saved. (Screenshots do wonders.)

Their site still shows them active on my end, but follow what EA reports. https://www.origin.com/en-us/status

Episode Reminder: “Covercraft”

Posted on November 23, 2014 by Alissa | 25 comments

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Who’s ready for an all new Simpsons?! I’m loving this schedule this year…no long breaks, it’s great!

Anywho..our favorite Springfield Family is back this week with an all new episode! You know…the thing that episode tie-in was reminding us to watch!

Sunday night (11/23)…Covercraft airs on FOX. So just what do the Simpsons have in store for us this week?

This week Will Forte guest starts! (as King Toot!)

Here’s the episode information released from FOX:
“Homer has a mid-life crisis after Moe’s shuts down and Moe takes off on a trip with King Toot. Homer then takes up bass guitar and forms a cover band with some of the other dads in town. But the band’s modest early success is soon overwhelmed by the breakout potential of their most unlikely star, Apu.”

We’ll also get a glimpse of Sideshow Mel’s family this week!

Here’s a sneak peak of this week’s episode…

Be sure to tune in Tonight to see all the fun!

As always after the episode airs we’ll have a full episode recap!

Are YOU excited for the new episode? What do you think will happen? Sound off in the comments below, you know we LOVE hearing from you!

The Kidz Aren’t Alright: Greta Wolfcastle

Posted on November 23, 2014 by Bunny | Leave a comment

Do you hear that? Me either. It is so nice and quiet and… OH NO!! Spoke to soon! Here comes the kids! D’OH!!

In our silly lil games, there are some smaller sized characters roaming around that don’t seem to get as much attention as the adults.

“Won’t somebody think of the children??!!” Lol.

Well, we thought of the children, decided that the kids aren’t alright, figured it was time someone took them out of the time out chair, so we can give you an idea of what it’s like growing up in Springfield.

Where Did THAT Come From: Stewart Duck & The Little Black Box

Posted on November 21, 2014 by Bunny | 14 comments

In our silly lil game, we sometimes see things pop in that we have no clue as to their Origin. They seem familiar, but we just can’t pinpoint from where. So that is why we decided to make a fun lil reminder out of it. To let you know just Where did THAT Come From?

Tapped Out Walkthroughs: Covercraft Episode Tie-In

Posted on November 21, 2014 by Alissa | 16 comments

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

In the midst of all the Turkey talk in Springfield, we’ve got another little crisis going on…King Toot’s has closed down!

In an episode tie-in for this week’s Simpsons episode, “Covercraft”, it’s reveled that King Toot’s as shut down due to a “disagreement” with Moe, his long time neighbor. Of course that’s all we get of the story…as they naturally want us to tune into The Simpsons on Sunday night to see what happens. BUT we do get another musically inspired building, one that Lisa refuses to use! Of course to get the rest of the story you’ll have to fork over some donuts and purchase the premium Guitar Central building.

Curious about what happens next? Wondering if you should fork over the donuts? (Should I buy here) Curious if Lisa will be able to play her Sax-a-ma-phone if she can’t find a reed? Well we’ve got you covered with the Covercraft walkthrough! So check out the details of who to keep free, and when, and follow along with the story….if you’re not ready to fork over the donuts!
