Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

The 2015 Treehouse of Horrors Event brought us loads of new costumes for our characters in Springfield. Including a couple new premium and freemium options for Kodos and Kang!

While we’ve had the questlines up for each character for a while now, we thought now would be a fun time to take a look back at all the dialogue and jokes of the character for aliens in costumes who participated in the event.. Especially since many of you have been requesting this over the last few days! So if you missed any of the dialogue during the event, or you’re just curious what one of the characters had to say that you didn’t unlock…we’ve got it all here for you!

Halloween Removal Is Live

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Just popping in with a quick post to let you know the Halloween removal update is live! So check your app store to download the removal…if you want.

If you’re still playing the update and working towards that last prize, you don’t have to download it right now. Eventually EA will force you to update…so you’re playing on borrowed time…but you can still plug away for now.

So enjoy the bright glow of Springfield again…and happy tapping!

PS Nothing’s new in the game that I can see…for now…except for some NPCs that are available. If you like them pick them up while you can..

THOH 2015 101: Crafting Act 3

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Well here we are, in most Tappers favorite time of the year in Springfield….Halloween! The leaves on the tress have changed colors, the water is murky and there’s a darkness that falls over our TSTO screens. All of these effects fit in perfectly with this year’s theme….Nightmares.

For the last year (THOH 2014 was the first year they did this), EA has broken up Events into stages. Where every couple of weeks new prizes will be released. They’ve also, over the last year, added an element of crafting to each Event, where you pick which prizes you want and craft accordingly. And they’ve continued both methods into THOH 2015.

While the prizes themselves are pretty self explanatory, collect this to earn these prizes, crafting is a whole other “animal”. Crafting requires some self direction. You decide what you want and collect the items to craft accordingly. Sometimes this is successful and sometimes it’s not. However, crafting for this event is pretty simple and straight forward…and there’s no reason you shouldn’t be able to get every craftable item you want this time around.

Now I know some of you still have questions about what to craft, if you should wait or craft now and what will happen in future Acts for THOH…so as we’ve done in the past, we’re here to breakdown all the crafting fun for you guys. So let’s take a look at the complete guide to Crafting in Act 3….

Addicts Question Corner: More Act 3 Clarifications

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

So it seems that many, many, MANY of you are still freaking out in the comments about Act 3. I know it can be frustrating, but honestly y’all need to calm down. It’s just a game and when you stop over thinking things, it all works out.

This is not a game made for Rocket Scientists. You don’t need a PhD to play it…this is a game for Ralph. And when you think like Ralph nothing is “unpossable” when it comes to TSTO. So the biggest thing is R-E-L-A-X. Take a deep breath. And bring it back to the simple things. Remember…it’s a game about tapping. At it’s very basic level all you do is tap.

Yes, I know it’s extremely frustrating when things don’t work as they should and bugs/glitches happen. It’s REALLY annoying. But it’s not worth having a coronary over. If the game is stressing you out/ticking you off that much…walk away. Take some time away from the game and come back when you’re destressed.

I’m not trying to fill your head with sugar plums and sweet nothings about the game…I know it flawed. There are LOADS of glitches/bugs with this Event. They’ve been happening all event long, I’m just trying to prevent you guys from freaking out over every little thing. It’s just a game. So relax please.

That being said…let’s go over some more clarifications to common questions we’re seeing in the comments. Hopefully this will help destress y’all….

Here we are almost at the end of the THOH Event and something in our game has restarted today…the Shopkeeper’s Challenges! This is the last week for the Shopkeeper’s Challenges…so hopefully you all earned your bonuts (Bonus Donuts) up to now…
