Friday Filler – The Dangers Of Too Much Nuthin’ To Do…

Thank Grog it’s Firday…

So…yes…I am starting to see a clear delineation between how people are “dealing” with the current Covid Pandemic Pandemonium.  Some are bored out of their minds, and have binge-watched more TV in the past month than they have the previous year. Others are so busy “Zooming” their way through jobs and meetings and other volunteer work, that they have started to really dread even thinking about opening another screen…especially to play a game.

Count me in that second group.

I’m not trying to be a martyr, or whine about doing things that are important…but, damn…I admit that mostly I am sick of people. And that is really weird, because I hardly see any people live and in person.

Having my wife home 24/7 is a blessing that many wish they had. She is a lovely person, when she isn’t driving me batshirt crazy with “her ways” of doing things.  We never comes to blows…but, it comes close.  She is like a family cat…who is ALWAYS under foot…placing herself in the direct line of traffic, and plopping her computer down for HER zoom meetings…in the middle of kitchen.

And yes…it’s all my fault.

Simpsons Wrestling Act 3 Starts Sunday

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Posting this a little early because of the impending weekend….so, just a friendly reminder that SUNDAY morning, April 26th, Act 3 of the Simpsons Wrestling Event will be starting.  The official start time is 10am ET.

The Act 2 (and Act 1) questline won’t be going anywhere, so if you haven’t finished the prizes you’ll have a chance to complete it even after Act 3 starts.

Also, here’s some inside info to help you prepare for Act 3 to start…

During Act 3 it’s up to Bart and Dr. Bonebreak to save Springfield! Of course, you’ll have to follow along with the dialogue to find out what happens, but the same characters used for Act 2 currency tasks should be used for the Act 3 currency tasks, including a brand new one for Act 3! So we’re looking at:
Homer
Marge
Bart
Lisa
Grampa
Burns
Smithers
Moe
Prof. Werner von Brawn (Premium)
Rumbleina (Premium)
New Premium Character for Act 3

You’ll also need Burns and 5 Springfielders free for the initial questline objective…

There will also be one new premium character combo introduced during Act 3 (a Gil Deal!), and that character will be able to help with the currency earning for Act 3.  (150 donuts will be needed if you’d like to purchase the combo)

And that’s it my friends!  Be prepared for Act 3 to start up Sunday morning!

Round 2 of Simpsons Wrestling is upon us!

I know it’s a little early, since Act 2 doesn’t officially wrap up until Sunday morning (although you technically have until May 13th to finish it)…but with the next Act hitting on Sunday I thought now would be a good time to take a look at the full dialogue for Act 2.  So if you haven’t finished Act 2 yet, don’t panic by seeing this post. You have plenty of time to finish!  I’m just trying to get ahead of the game…

Simpsons Wrestling Prize Guide: Act 2, Prize 5 Honest Abe

Round 2 of Simpsons Wrestling is underway…

The Simpsons Wrestling Event follows the same event structure of the Multi-Events before it.  This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting just over a week (10 days) and taking us through a new part of the event!

For Act 2 we’re tasked with collecting Folding Chairs!  Each part of the story will unlock another prize themed for the second part of the story.

So let’s take a look at the final Act 2 prize…Honest Abe, a new costume for Grampa Simpson…

Update time in Springfield!  We’re all getting antsy sitting at home, so it’s nice to have an update to focus on! What’s in store for us this time? Well, it’s time for Burns and Aristotle Amadopolis to have yet another clash of tapping proportions!

With Act 2, one new premium character was introduced. In addition to helping with event currency, Rumbleina comes with her own, short (and crazy!), individual questline, so let’s take a look at the full dialogue questline now…

Wrestling Mystery Box Breakdown and Addressing No FREE Donuts w/Tokens- FIXED

Since the introduction of the Yearbook Mystery Box last year, most of the event-specific boxes have become outdated. As many of the items are in the Yearbook box for much less.

However, with the Wrestling Mystery Box released with this event, you can unlock items for a token on the prize track (4 total unlocks available).  So basically it’s a free Mystery Box.

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Update time in Springfield!  We’re all getting antsy sitting at home, so it’s nice to have an update to focus on!  And highly amusing that it’s based on wrestling, when this may be how some of us are treating our families after a few months of quarantine!  😳 Of course, an all-new event means all-new premium content in our stores, just tempting us to drop those pink sprinkles!

As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon.  But don’t sweat it!  That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
