Making progress on your Personal Prize Collecting? Are you staying on track with Bunny’s Counter? Or are you speeding right along?
It’s time to take another look at the Personal Prize Collection and the last two prizes (9 and 10), the Plow King’s Plow & Costington’s. Let’s take a look at how these two additions enter our world of TSTO…..
Well it’s the Friday before Christmas, are you getting excited for Santa yet?! Let’s break into the holiday spirit and prep ourselves for Santa’s arrival with a Turbo Tappin’ Walkthrough of Santa Flanders!
Santa Flanders is a Personal Prize that unlocks at the 22,000 Gift Cards Collected. You can check out details of unlocking him on this post here. Once you unlock Santa Flanders a 5 part quest should auto-start for Flanders (in the Santa Flanders costume). If it doesn’t auto-start check to see if Flanders is on another task, and that he’s in his Santa skin. If he’s not Santa, tap on Flanders and toggle to Santa. If he IS Santa but the quest still doesn’t start, try hard closing the app and restarting. That should (hopefully) “kick-start” the quest.
So let’s jump into the Christmas spirit….here’s your Turbo Tappin’ Santa Flanders Walkthrough Continue reading →
How are you doing on your Personal Prize Collecting? Are you staying on track with Bunny’s Counter? Or are you speeding right along? (like good little TSTO Addicts! :D)
Anywho, time to take another look at the Personal Prize Collection and the new two prizes (7 & 8), the Christmas Raccoon & Santa Flanders. Let’s take a look at how these two strange characters enter our world of TSTO…..
Whaaaaaazuuuuuuup! Do you remember that obnoxious advertising campaign? If not, Mytube has them I’m sure. They were beer commercials. Funny at first and then mildly irritating and then searing your brain cells.
One of the best parts of getting to blog on this site is sharing my love of The Simpsons with anyone who takes the time to read my words. I love the show and have seen every episode at least once. Recently, I’ve had a great excuse to re-watch them more and more just to talk about decorations, characters and buildings that have been added to TSTO.
Watching every episode, I can’t help but notice that the available content for TSTO is enormous! Any watcher could rattle off at least one thing they think should have been added to the game already. I’m actually mildly jealous of the folks who get to do this for EA. Anywho, with the holiday update, a lot of content got added to the game. Much of it is from Christmas episodes and some is from classic episodes. Looking at all the new stuff, I picture a boardroom full of nerds like myself pitching their ideas. I know there was at least one lazy guy who mentioned the totem pole which was designed eons ago, definitely one weasel with a flair for consumerism (and getting folks to spend donuts) and probably a dude who has gambled a little too much online. In addition, one of them definitely loved the 500th Simpsons episode aka Season 23, Episode 14: “At Long Last”.
EA did their utmost to give us a ton of new stuff in the holiday update and for a Simpsons nerd like me, I couldn’t be happier. One of my favorite things is that besides all the stuff from episodes, we may have actually got some original content! What might be unique? Two things, The Egg Nog Bar and Santa Flanders.
Are you having fun with the Krusty Non-Denominatioal Wheel yet? Getting frustrated because you keep landing on cash? I know I am! But hey that’s what gambling is all about…and if I was in Vegas right now I’d be pretty stoked to land on $1,000! At least I’ll keep telling myself that….
If you have Barney the Plow King Skin should unlock automatically (if not just tap on Barney and toggle over to him) and if you haven’t purchased our friend don’t worry the skin will stay in your inventory should you eventually make the purchase! Once unlocked a 5 part mini quest will start where Barney does what any good drunk would do….and talks to himself. Seriously every line of dialogue is Barney talking to himself….I wonder if he’s been “cheating” on Moe and drinking the “good stuff” at the Egg Nog Bar.
Anyway let’s get to the point of this post already….geez
Wookiee back with another where did THAT come from. You may have noticed I got all hip and shortened the words into a spiffy abbreviation. Cool, eh? As it seems that recently some of our ideas have been catching on in other blogs, we figured we’d do every one a favor and shorten it for future “borrowing”. Nothing says the holidays like gift giving, right? Since Bunny coined the phrase, I decided to go all military abbreviation crazy and kick things up a notch lol. Seriously though, I’m probably just too lazy to type the words. You know how I hate to type words.
So you ready for this round? You really want to know just where that Skating Rink comes from? Well, before you all line up like Oliver begging for more, I’ll just get started. Besides, none of you really want to hear my Artful Dodger impression anyways.
The Christmas update has been out for 1 week now and if you’re following along with Bunny’s Gift Card Counter Calendar (try saying that 10 times fast!) you should be just past unlocking the 4th Personal Prize and on your way to unlocking the 5th Prize!
Of course we know a lot of you are crazy fast Addicts…us included….and have already zoomed past this stage! But for those who aren’t let’s take a look at the 5th and 6th Personal Prizes for the Christmas Event!
Snow snow snowy snow. Not just in Springfield but also in Krustyland. While the ghosts were afraid of all the tourists over there, Mother Nature ain’t no punk. Krustyland got the snow treatment right and proper.
Even more than some crystallized precipitation, EA gave us a NEW ride for the park. Move over Tijuana, Krustyland just might be the Happiest Place right now. How much happier can you get than Happy Elves, right?
Alissa already brought you some great information on the first two Personal Prizes you can receive as you collect all those gift cards. I am now going to move on to the 3rd and 4th Personal Prizes in the game because I know you are just DYING to get them (if you don’t already have them you crazy fast addicts you).
Ok… I know it is completely melodramatic to misquote Shakespeare to make my point, but it seemed like a great segway into today’s 2D Tuesday post.
Winter has come to Springfield. With the vast blanket of white and programming tweaks to decorations came some changes for all the tappers who like to creat art in their towns. Just check out what Old Man Winter did to Bunny’s Werewolf Flanders if you need proof.
