Springfield Showoff: SHOW ME YOUR BOATS!

As we sit here frakkin files, pulling pics, and typing a million words a minute to get our readers the latest updates and information…we find ourselves sometimes forgetting to stop and enjoy our own games. More so our neighboreenos. So we try to make it a point to hop in n out of the towns now and then to see what cool things YOU are up to.

So we have decided we want to continue to focus more attention (as if we don’t already 😛 ) on YOU…our readers. Time to time we will be peaking into your towns, checking our Flickr, and also the posts in the comments below to see what cool ideas and designs YOU have come up with to make your towns unique and…well…YOU.

So here is YOUR chance to show off all your hard work, time, donuts & in game cash spent. Send us your work, no matter how big or small. Brag about it to the world. We want you to. WDTCF – Howard’s Flowers

Say you don’t need no tapped out game and I’ll be mortified… give me at least one free donut and I’ll be satisfied… I ain’t got enough time or money…. EA can’t buy me love…. Can’t buy me love love, donuts can’t buy me love, can’t buy me love love, no no no no…. Oh… hey there Addicterinos. SOrry about that, you know me and my silliness. I don’t know about you but I am so getting in the Valentine’s Day Spirit. With the upcoming S.A.D. update headed our way (or so we all think, who knows, EA could surprise us), I really hope they bring back all the decorations, buildings and characters from last year’s event. (insert shameless plug for previous post here)

One of the buildings was Howard’s Flowers. We were able to get it by collecting 25 hearts (the currency for 2013 VD). It’s a unique looking building that I’ve heard quite a few tappers pine for. Not a bad one either as it generates $200 and 17 XP every 10 hours. I’ve had mine close to the Hospital for forever it seems with my other VD decorations.

Another Update from Alissa 2/2/14: Bunny, Wookiee & I are still here…we PROMISE. And yes…I’ve let Bunny and Wookiee run off some energy today and let them out of the basement and attic…for now.
We’re still in a bit of a holding pattern while we’re waiting for our domain name to completely move from the old hosted area (WordPress.com) to our new private server. However, we’re still here and we will STILL be updating, reading and approving (And responding) to your comments.
Our site WILL NOT be down at anytime while we’re waiting. All content from Addicts will be accessible in both locations, however only new content will appear on the old site for now (which i’m pretty sure most of you are still seeing). Once the domain name switch reaches our locations we’ll be able to update the new site…we’re still waiting too just like you guys.
We will move every single comment and post from here to the new server once it’s complete (i’m hopeful by tomorrow morning). So you can relax and just keep Tapping away and we’ll be here to answer all of your TSTO (and life) questions. If for some reason you can’t get us here just drop us an email at TSTOAddictsblog@gmail.com.

Should I Spend Donuts On The Duff Party Bus?

Episode Tie-In you say? Superbowl brought back a really cool LIMITED TIME premium decoration. Now, as with all new premium content you may be asking “Should I Spend Donuts On THIS?” Well before you hit that confirm button, lets break down the Pros and Cons of adding this TOTALLY AWESOME DUFF PARTY BUS to your Springfield!

Decoration: Duff Party Bus
Donut Price: 50 donuts
Unique?: NO (OH YEAH!! A party bus for EVERYONE!)
Bonus: 2.25% (bonus cash and XP to all tasks)
Bonus % Per Donut Spent: 0.05% (.045)
Conform-o-Meter Points: 400 Vanity
Where Can I Place It?: Land, Beach, and Squidport. (have party…will travel)

Final Thought: At 50 donuts and a 2.25% bonus, the Duff Party Bus seems well worth the sweets spent to acquire it to me. I don’t think we ever have enough vehicles around town and this one just adds to the cool look and feel with all of the other Duff items. I would say to grab this one while you can, as it IS limited to the Superbowl episode and most likely to be gone after Sunday. OH YEAH!!!!

1-30 Minor In-Game Update

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers,

Just received another little minor in game update (no it’s not time for Valentine’s Day yet…). It appears that this little update has made it so the Duff Party Bus is now no longer unique….so you can purchase as many as you’d like (for the low low rate of 50 donuts! Still a 2.25% bonus on each bus purchased) . However, the Duff Racer is still unique…so you can only purchase one.

So now you can party down with the Duff Bus all over Springfield!

Will YOU be buying more than one Duff Bus? Will you be buying even 1 Duff Bus?
