Time goes by and we enjoy the madness here at Addicts and suddenly a fuzzball’s going through decorations and realizing he never covered three whole items that came from an update AND the same episode. Jiminy Crickets, some Wookiee’s can’t get their stuff together. Anywho… in a classic case of better late than never, let’s go ahead and cover the Devil Float, Jet Engine Bike and Backwater Brewery.

Hola mi amigos!
The Topiary Wars continue (check out Pay Pal, S25:E21 for that reference) and in TSTO we got yet another fluffy green bush trimmed like a character. You know you’ve been subconsciously jonesing for this ever since your snowdog melted, right? What am I talking about… well if the title was way too subtle, let’s discuss the SLH Topiary.
NOTE: Here at Addicts, we often write filler posts in advance for those lull periods between updates and events. This post has been sitting since November of last year. More proof of the Wookiee’s ESPN? Probably not… but a fuzzball can dream. No matter what, I certainly don’t mind only having to mildly tweak a post…
Who has two furry thumbs and an excuse to ramble about more decorations? The Wookiee, that’s who. This time I decided to tackle a few of the limited time items you may have coveted a time or two in a neighborino’s town.

What’s up Addicts? I know… the sky, I get jokes too. Wookiee back for another decoration origin post.
Top Ten at 10? Don’t mind if I do. 🙂
An Addicts reader, Erika F., posed this question to us…
I would like to see a “Top 10″ list of your favorite premium items! I think it’d be really helpful for those (including me) having a hard time deciding which items to get, since there are just so many to pick from. Thanks so much addicts! Hope to hear back soon.
Well Erika, you asked…and now here are our answers. Everyone likes a Countdown, right?
Love me. Hug me. Destroy your other toys.
How’s everybody today? November is rolling right along and you know what that means besides Thanksgiving on 28 Nov, right?
Last year’s event was really rad with Springfields across the globe being covered by snow. Among the buildings, decorations and characters available for Santa Coins, Donuts and game currency were 3 items you’ve probably seen while visiting a neighborino or two. That’s right, the Funzos!

With all of the Halloween premium items that are limited-time it may be overwhelming trying to decide which items to buy and what to pass on. With that limited-time label on items I know it can be tempting to just buy everything you can. But, have no fear! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth your donuts & what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the Cauldron to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button, let’s break down the Pros and Cons of adding the the Cauldron to your Springfield.
Donut Price: 75 Donuts
Unique?: Yes, only 1 Cauldron per Springfield
Bonus: 2.25% (bonus cash & XP to all tasks)
Bonus % Per Donut Spent: 0.03%
-It unlocks the Witch Marge Costume for Marge, with a whole new set of tasks that earn at a PREMIUM rate (50% more cash & XP)
-Ability to speed up a crop
-Limited-Time costume from last year that was brought back. Great for new tappers and Android players who couldn’t play TSTO last year because it wasn’t available on Android.
-No quest line with it.
-For 75 donuts you’re not adding a new character or building, mainly just a costume and decoration.
Honestly…if you can swing it, I say go for it. This is one of the more sought after items to the game, and the fact that EA has brought it back for this Halloween is AWESOME. At 75 donuts it’s not the worst item you can buy. Plus you’ll earn a decent bonus percentage rate AND premium rates on her tasks.
Witch Marge’s Tasks:
|Buy Eye of Newt
|Speed Up a Crop
||Outside Cletus’s Farm
|Do A Victory Lap
||Flys on a Broom Outside
|Stir the Pot
|Relax with a Book of Spells

Wow… this event is awesome! So much stuff to do and so many bodacious items to add to your Springfield. Just wanted to drop by real quick and point out to some of the newer tappers something EA brought back from last year…. the ZOMBIES!
The Season Premiere of the Simpsons is coming THIS Sunday on Fox and to celebrate the start of the 25th year EA has given us a mini update. With the episode tie in update comes the Hi-Glow Waste Barrels, a limited-time premium decoration for your Springfield! Now I’m sure you’re asking yourself, ‘Should I spend donuts on this?’ Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the Hi-Glow Waste Barrels and if they’re worth your donuts:
Decoration: Hi-Glow Waste Barrels
Donut Price: 40 Donuts
Bonus % Per Donut Spent: 0.05%
Conform-O-Meter Points: Vanity +400
Where Can I Place It?: On the main (grass or pavement) sections of Springfield only. (No Squidport or beach)
Final Thought: At 40 donuts and a 2% bonus, it’s certainly not the worst investment you can make. While I have added them to my Springfield I do think the Hi-Glow Waste Barrels are a large & somewhat weird addition to TSTO. Although it makes perfect sense, since the town was blown up and all, but it’s just a weird object to try and place, at least in my opinion. Normally this is something I’d say pass on, since the concept of the decoration itself isn’t that great and for the donuts paid/bonus % awarded there are better items you can spend your donuts on that will make a little more sense in your town. However…this is a LIMITED TIME item. Once it’s gone it’s gone and you can never purchase it again, so be sure to take that into consideration when making your decision.
What do you think? Will you be picking up your Hi-Glow Waste Barrels before they’re gone? Let us know in the comments below.

Wookiee’s log. TSTO Level 35. 0030 PST and I’m 9 hours and 7 minutes away from having the highly anticipated DMV in my Springfield.
Sitting next to this construction zone is one of my new Limos, awaiting a student driver apparently?
