Anywho… with all the new stuff that came with the Clash of Clones event you may find yourself wondering just where all the items come from. The easy answer is the game it’s making fun of but not everything is from THAT game. Some of it comes from the Best. Show. Ever. For this edition of WDTCF, I thought we’d take a look at the origin of Boxingham Palace.
I don’t know about you but I am finding myself smiling more and more every time I visit the Village of Wookieeton and find smoking remnants of buildings. While strategy based games aren’t my forte or really my favorite, I decided early on in this event to make the most of it. If nothing else, this update has rekindled my creative fire. My neighbors are active and so is my imagination… life is good.
I’m normally a pretty positive person but I do have one big gripe with this update. I’m sure by now a lot of tappers have gotten their 3 castles up to Level 10 and found out that the accouterments for Lisa and Bart’s come with a premium price tag. I was right there with ya being pretty ticked about the development and wondering what the heck I was going to do with just 3 towers, 8 walls, a gate and castle?

Hey hey friends! It seems EA had some sneaky surprises waiting for us and delivered on more items for our TSTO wargame. A bunch of different items arrived and as always, I get the privilege to dish on the origins of them. Today I thought we’d look at the Two Story Outhouse. For the cost of 3000 Elixir, it boosts your Vanity rating by 800 points and as a nice bonus, can be placed on the grass, pavement, beach and Squidports of your town. Makes sense, people gotta see a man about a wallaby in all sorts of places.

The TSTO Clone Wars continue and last week EA gave us even more stuff for the battlefront. Of course, at first pass you might think none of it could possibly be from the Best. Show. Ever. because the event is mocking another game but you’d be wrong. For this origin post, we’ll be taking a look at the instrument of decapitation commonly associated with Medieval Europe and Revolutionary France… the guillotine.

As we sit here frakkin files, pulling pics, and typing a million words a minute to get our readers the latest updates and information…we find ourselves sometimes forgetting to stop and enjoy our own games. With all the TSTO War going on, it brings to mind some of the great war poetry I’ve read in my life (quite a bit during my last semester of college). I thought I’d start this Weekend Update with a little culture. I highly recommend Mr. Owen’s stuff and will save you from any more of my thoughts about real war.
