Building Bumper Cars in Krustyland

So… maybe you have visited a fellow tapperinos Krustland recently and noticed they have a ride you can’t find in your inventory. What ride might that be? Well, it is Krusty’s Broken Koaster Kars and is a creation by some of the Addicts who play TSTO. I’m not sure where I first saw this idea, but because of my forgetfulness (and knowing full well how creative he is), I give credit to Shelfcleaner. Here’s his version.

New Building Price Guide For Level 34

EA just gave us happy tappers a gift of a new level. Number 34. We here at Addicts would like to provide you with as much up to date information as possible. To help assist my fellow bloggers, I am providing you the following information I compiled.

In case you didn’t know, the purchase prices of the buildings in the top 6 levels decrease in price until they hit their base cost. The starting point/most expensive is the building at the top level (like the new Level 34 buildings). Many are just starting on their TSTO tapping adventure, some are a few levels behind. For what ever reason it may be, below is an updated list of the current costs to purchase a building. The list is here to help you in your quest for information.

Are Laffy Meal’s Worth the Donuts?

The Krustyland expansion has brought us another game of chance premium purchase, like Springfield’s Homer Buddha and the Mystery Box, the Laffy Meal. Instead of bottomless fast food calories, the Laffy Meal gives tappers the opportunity to win tickets or premium items for Krustyland. The Laffy Meal is available only in Krustyland and will set you back 25 donuts.

Here are the Laffy Meal prizes and odds:

Itchy Mascot/2000	2%
Scratchy Mascot/2000	2%
Krusty Fountain	1.75%
Eyeballs of Death/4000	0.75%
Mount Krustmore/7000	0.5%

*Note: The Itchy & Scratchy Mascots, Eyeballs of Death & Mount Krustmore are all unique items, so if you’ve already purchased/won them you’ll be awarded with the ticket value noted.

While 25 donuts may sound a little steep, it’s worth it if you can win Mount Krustmore or 7,000 tickets! Personally I’ve purchased a few Laffy Meals and the best I’ve done was 4,000 tickets (I already had the Eyeballs of Death). They were useful in the early stages of the game when tickets were hard to accumulate.

What Is the Krust-o-Meter?

Consider the Krust-o-Meter the Conform-o-Meter of Krustyland. Just like the Conform-O-Meter you’ll see it in the lower left corner, just to the right of the level indicator. And if you tap the meter, it’ll break everything down for you like this:

Just like in Springfield, buildings, rides and decorations that you build or place in Krustyland contribute to a conformity bonus. Each bouncy ball you get in the total rating will earn you up to a 5% bonus when it comes to Krustyland tickets and XP collections. Note: Krustyland, unlike Springfield, does not award half a bouncy ball. You’ve got to completely fill the bouncy balls in order for it to count towards the Krust-o-Meter bonus.

The Krust-o-Meter is broken out into 4 parts:

Nausea: changes with the number of nausea-inducing rides in your Krustyland.
Grub: changes with the number of food stalls and restaurants in your Krustyland.
Kitsch: changes with the number of decorations and special objects in your Krustyland.
Merch: changes with the number of games of skill and stores selling stuff in your Krustyland.

As an added bonus, the Krust-o-Meter rating also helps you generate visitors to your Krustyland who will help you earn tickets faster. They’re completely random visitors who will wander around Krustyland. You won’t be able to assign them tasks, but they will still earn you tickets. Springfield vs. Krustyland: Character Management

The introduction of the Krustyland expansion in TSTO has required tappers to multitask a bit more than normal. Unlike Squidport, where the quests were all in Springfield, Krustyland requires movement back and forth between Springfield and Krustyland to ensure quests and tasks are moving along. This can feel overwhelming, especially if you’re working on a new level quest in Springfield. The good news? Not all of your characters appear in Krustyland, and the ones that do are not all required at once. In fact only Homer and Krusty are required to get things started.

So what other characters make an appearance in Krustyland? Here’s a complete list of the characters that make an appearance in Krustyland and when:

Cletus and Sideshow Mel– Part 5
Bart, Lisa and Kearney- Part 6
Milhouse- Part 7
Martin, Skinner and Otto- Part 11
Comic Book Guy- Part 15

Remember: Sideshow Mel, Kearney, Otto, Hans Moleman & SVT are all premium characters and will only appear in your Krustyland if you’ve purchased them.

What a Wookiee wants… MORE KRUSTYLAND!!!

So I am super stoked about Krustyland! I am from Southern California and theme parks are near and dear to me. As I realized this new expansion is based on one of my favorite theme park rides, I did some digging in to what other possible rides could be added to the game in the future. This info partially comes from the Simpsons Wiki so please show that site some love if you’ve never been there. As you’ll see from the list below, there are tons of things EA could hook us up with in the future. Here is the map that guests at Universal get to see when they go on the ride. You’ll see tiny blurry numbers on the left which is the list I have provided below.

Notice a bunch of random people walking around your Krustyland? Wondering who the heck they are? Well if you ask Krusty they’re “The dregs of humanity….(aka) Customers”. As you move further along in the Krustyland Quest you’ll notice more and more visitors appear in your park, some carrying knives and axes, but don’t worry they’re not there to hurt you!

The visitors that appear in your Krustyland are directly related to your Krust-o-Meter rating. Unlike in Springfield, where your Conform-o-Meter generates a bonus multiplier, the Krust-o-Meter generates visitors who earn tickets. The higher your Krust-o-Meter, the more visitors will appear.
