Christmas has arrived in Springfield! But, with all of the new Christmas premium items that are limited-time it may be overwhelming trying to decide which items to buy and what to pass on. With that limited-time label on items I know it can be tempting to just buy everything you can. But, have no fear! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth your donuts & what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the Grumple to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button, let’s break down the Pros and Cons of adding this decoration to your Springfield.
Pros: -Is a permanent Character to your town
-Comes with 5 money/XP making tasks
-Comes with a GREAT back story and quest line
-Adds to the Holiday Decorations
Cons: -A Holiday Character
-Pricey for not including a building
Final Thought: I REALLY like this character. Probably more so due to my love of who it is protraying. 120 donuts is a LOT to spend for a character when there are others for around same cost that include a building. I just know that for an completionist/addict, this character is a must have. I would take advantage of Gil’s Christmas Donut Deal and then purchase the Grumple. Then maybe the hefty price tag won’t sting so much. Otherwise, if you are pinching your pennies and watching your donuts, this one may be too costly for you.
Just remember whatever you decide this is a LIMITED-TIME item and once it’s gone, it’s gone…so be sure to get it before the event is over if you’re thinking about it. He does make a few grumpley noises too. “Grumple-ty grumple-ty goo”
***Bunny***
FYI…I figure I should just drop these off in here, just in case you wanted to see them. 🙂
The Grumple is now in our towns available for purchase. You will find him in your Holiday menu for purchase of 120 donuts. He does come with a quest line and an amusing story.
But, for those of you with itchy trigger fingers, here is the QUICK QUICK version of his quest line.

So here we are on the Eve of Christmas and EA has decided to bring to us yet ANOTHER character for our game.
For some of us “older” crowd, Christmas consisted of claymated cartoons and possessed looking characters in our kiddie Christmas Specials. Dropped into the mix of Reindeers, Clause, and Snowman was a character out of a book by Dr. Suess. The Grinch.
Now The Simpsons trying to keep their own way of doing things came up with their own take on this grumpy green character. The Grumble. Now he is available for purchase in your game for the price tag of 120 Donuts.
Stay tuned for the Dialog and details coming soon! 🙂
