Turbo Tappin’: Christmas 2013

In case you’ve been living under a rock (or in Shelbyville) it’s snowing is Springfield! That means it’s time to Turbo Tap the update! Here’s your Turbo Tappin’ quick walkthrough guide for the Christmas 2013 update (for those of you who LOVE the full dialogue, don’t worry it’s coming soon too):
Note:this is a walkthrough for just the main quest line at this time. Due to the nature of the Christmas update, and the many parts to it, we’ll add any additional walkthroughs separately. So basically this is the walkthrough for the main quest (free) version. Enjoy!

The Gift of EA: The Run Down On Gift Cards, Gift Bags & Prizes

Hey Howdy Hey Ghostbuste..er I mean Gift Grabbers!

Snow has arrived in Springfield & is it just me or is anyone else have Déjà vu? Christmas looks a lot like Halloween (sort of). Instead of the creepy mist, Ghosts, Gremlins and GOO, Christmas brings us snow, gift boxes, gift bags and gift cards (Geez..what’s with all the G words EA?!) Confused yet? Don’t be…as always the Addicts team is here to help! We’ve got you covered, so that plus the 4 weeks you have to play the update should help you achieve all of the goals! Let’s get right to it by breaking down the “game inside the game”.

If we were Ghostbusters at Halloween we’re Gift Grabbers for Christmas, because that’s what EA is asking you to do here. The object is to “grab” (tap) gifts in your town to collect Gift Cards and other goodies. Gift Cards are the new in-game currency for special Christmas items. Occasionally a Gift Box will spill out a Gift Bag or a Spin Coin when you tap them. Gift Bags are collected to put into your friend’s towns, they’ll help you earn more Gift Cards. Confused yet? It’s CHRISTMAS!!!! Update Live on Apple…AND Android

We’re hearing reports of the Christmas Update (V 4.6 r1) hitting the Apple stores. So be sure to check out your iTunes store and update your devices! Android users sit tight…it’s coming shortly!

Looking for friends? Check out the ADD FRIENDS area right above this. Unfortunately, all requests not placed there will be intercepted by The Grumple.

Update: We’re seeing spotty reports of it hitting the Android Market as well. Some users are reporting it’s there, other’s don’t see it & some are saying it says update but nothing is there yet. The true Addicts that we are…we play on ALL devices and we’re still not seeing it in our Android markets. As soon as it hits for us we’ll confirm it to you guys! 🙂

Update #2: The update on the App has hit Android Markets. If you’re still not seeing it try restarting your device.

Update #3: Another in game update hit both Apple and Android. Checking to see if there are any noticeable differences. Hoping this fixes the glitches a few apple users are already seeing. Will post if we see more.

IMPORTANT: It appears as though the Squidport, Cletus’s Farm, Channel 6 & Open Air Stage Glitch has been REMOVED with this update. Sorry to be the one to break the bad news!

Just a quick note from the resident Wookster to let y’all know my iphone is currently downloading the update as I type. Woo hoo! We’ll be back with more very soon!

UPDATE From Alissa: The update is now live on both Apple & Android…and it’s HUGE. This is the biggest update in the history of TSTO…and I think very much worth the wait…at least at first glance!
