Where Did THAT Come From-Stolen Bumper Car

This is another one of those items that has barely a mention in an episode, yet makes it mark into our game. In the Episode: Selma’s Choice, Aunt Selma has taken the kids to the Duff Gardens amusement park. Lisa drinks the “water” in a ride I can say is attempting to resemble it’s a small world and goes nuts. Bart sneaks on to the Barrel Roll ride he isn’t tall enough for by using caramel apples as lifts.

The bar on the ride goes right over Bart instead of securing him.He is hanging on for dear life while shouting to the attendant to stop it.

He is then taken to security. The guard is very upset due to while he was dealing with Bart, hoodlums made off with 3 bumper cars (Dolph, Kearney, and Jimbo). That’s it. Continue reading

Level 36 and the Conform-O-Meter

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

I know I still owe everyone how the Halloween item impact the Conform-O-Meter, and that post is coming soon I PROMISE!  However, with the release of Level 36 many of the requirements to maintain 5 Stars on your Conform-O-Meter have changed, so I want to make sure I get this information out to my favorite Addicts ASAP!  So you can all maintain those 5-Star towns!

The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and  XP from everything you collect in the game.  When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town.  If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.

The Level 36 update has introduced 2 new buildings, 2 new characters, 1 new decoration & all new point amounts required to reach a 5-Star Springfield.  At Level 36 here’s what you’ll need to max out your Conform-O-Meter:

Level Indolence Obedience Consumerism/
    Gluttony
36     450      260       252/276
Tree-hugging
     /Vanity
Righteousness Socialism
18,115/28,670          157     1,434

As you can see, Level 36 has increased the Indolence Rating requirement (+10, 1 more house), the Consumerism Rating requirement (+12, 1.2 new stores), the Tree-Hugging Rating requirement (+1,170), the Vanity Rating requirement (+1,650), the Righteousness Rating requirement (+8) and the Socialism Rating requirement (+90).  The Gluttony & Obedience Ratings remain the same with no increase.

Now I’m sure you’re wondering, ‘How will the new buildings/decorations help me max out?’  Well, here’s how:

Item Cost Category Points
Stolen Bumper Car $760 Vanity 150
Noise Land Video Arcade $247,500 Consumerism 10
Springfield Museum of Natural History 100 Donuts Indolence 10

Let us know how your Conform-O-Meter rating is doing!  Are you maxed out?  If not, what area currently needs a boost?

Nelson:
I’m not feeling school today.  Even the wedgies seem… educational.
Jimbo: He does not have to be purchase for this to start) Yeah, I’ve started calculating the potential return on reinvesting lunch money in the current marketplace.  Let’s get out of here before we learn anything!
Kearney: My kid’s at daycare until three, so I’m in.
Nelson: Hey, I only heard two yeses.  Where’s Dolph?
Jimbo: At the arcade.  He’s been wasting his time playing some mindless video game for nonexistent rewards.
Nelson: He’s really good.  He’s on level 36, but I’m only on level 21.

In my youth (Oh crap, am I revealing my age?)…Hmmm…in a lot of people’s youth, a much beloved and watched movie was E.T. Many kids sat around in awe as a young kid stumbled upon a stranded alien, befriended him with Reese’s Pieces (mmmmm…hang on…I gotta go to the store and grab a bag)…
