In this post, I hope to direct you to the episode that brought us a really cool new character…again…for the Halloween Event. Those of you not lucky enough to have gotten her last year, or those on Android, EA brought back the cauldron. If you purchase it, you will automatically get the “skin” for Marge as a witch. Now the question is, where did this character come from?
A quick note. If you’re on an Android device an update has been released for the phone in the Play Store. Make sure you go in and update your Tapped Out game. No major changes, it looks as though it’s just a big glitch fix. Not one they could do as an in-game update. So be sure to update your App if you’re on Android. Nothing for iPhone users at this time, which tells me it’s fixing a system glitch that’s impacting Android phones only. Anything new happens we’ll definitely let you all know.
There is a growing issue with the Goo counts being off. I am seeing it effecting more and more users. It is now effecting my game too. I am in contact with EA in regards to the issue and will update you on any information that is provided to me.
In the meantime, here is the glitch I am seeing (as well as others). Once you hit your 10,000 Goo mark, you are put into the Spooktacular Bonus round. For every 2000 Goo beyond the 10,000 you collect, you are able to pick from the 3 prize boxes for a chance at 3 free donuts. This is similar to the XP bonus levels. You will know when you hit this as the lil Halloween Candy icon will pop up in your task book icons.
“The worst thing that ever happened to me was on Christmas. Oh, God. It was so horrible. It was Christmas Eve. I was 9 years old. Me and Mom were decorating the tree, waiting for Dad to come home from work. A couple hours went by. Dad wasn’t home. So Mom called the office. No answer. Christmas Day came and went, and still nothing. So the police began a search. Four or five days went by. Neither one of us could eat or sleep. Everything was falling apart. It was snowing outside. The house was freezing, so I went to try to light up the fire. That’s when I noticed the smell. The firemen came and broke through the chimney top. And me and Mom were expecting them to pull out a dead cat or a bird. And instead they pulled out my father. He was dressed in a Santa Claus suit. He’d been climbing down the chimney… his arms loaded with presents. He was gonna surprise us. He slipped and broke his neck. He died instantly. And that’s how I found out there was no XXXXX XXXXX.” ~ Gremlins, 1984
Ok… that’s not a real story from my life but in my Springfield, it is always Christmas lol. I blocked those last two words just in case any of y’all have tiny tapper buddies. So… I’ve been slacking lately on doing 2D with all the Halloween shenanigans to mess with, but today I decided to get off my DUFF and make some art.
A little while back, one of my buddies over at Tapped-Out.co.uk. did me a favor and I promised him a 2D just for him. I planned on doing a Simpsons Gremlin for Otto Mann (aka Chris J.) to ram his bus in to but found out this was already done by another one of my 2D peeps. Well, what to do now? The other Gremlins are too scary for TSTO, right? Well, I went out on the internet and found a pretty great image I wanted to do.
With all of the talk of glitches and missing characters, I’ve been noticing more and more questions in the comments about storing buildings & which characters are assigned to which buildings. So I figured it’d be good for a little character storage refresher.
If you have a missing character in the game (or if you ever want to cancel a task) one of the great ways to get them back is to store the building they entered Springfield in. Here’s what you do…. Continue reading →
By now, you probably know that I was held hostage by a mean old tuna muncher recently (No… I’m not talking about Patty Bouvier, jeesh, some people). Thankfully, I was able to convince his highness King Snorky to continue playing TSTO for me and other than a vague briny smell on my myPhone, he somehow got me very close to my next GOO prize… the Twirl ‘N’ Hurl.
