Level 36 is here (woohoo!) and with it comes Jimbo Jones, a premium Toughie to add to your Springfield. I’m sure you’re asking “Should I Spend Donuts on This?”….well before you hit that confirm button, let’s break down the Pros and Cons of adding this bully to your Springfield.
Character: Jimbo Jones Donut Price: 120 Donuts Pros: -Comes with his own 7 part quest when unlocked (you can read the full walkthrough here)
-Premium character pays out 50% more XP & Cash on all Jobs and Task
-Amusing outdoor task, Hacky Sack a Frog.
-Permanent Task using Noise Land Arcade Building. Cons: -Expensive. At 120 Donuts he’s one of the most expensive characters without a building
-He’s not voiced
-After his initial quest he has no real tasks that interact with other characters. Final: I’m someone that’s always been in the “buy premium character” camp. While 120 donuts is steep, and it may take a while to save, I’m a fan of adding Jimbo to your Springfield. However, if donuts are limited for you you are better off spending less on a character like Arnie Pye (who comes with a helicopter) because you’ll get a bit more out of him. So, if you have the donuts I say go for it. But if you’re looking to be smart with your donut purchases I’d say hold off, for now, and take a look at some of the lower cost premium characters.
The arrival of Level 36 brings us Jimbo Jones, a premium character for the Simpsons Tapped Out. After you’ve shelled out 120 donuts, to unlock Jimbo, you unlock his 7 part questline. Here’s the complete walkthrough to help guide you through his quest.
Rebel Without a Pause Pt. 1
After tapping Jimbo
Jimbo: The New Yorker was right. School sucks. Bart: Hey, at least it’s almost lunchtime, right? Jimbo: If I have to eat another serving of Mystery Meat Surprise, I’m gonna hurl. And don’t get me started on the lunch ladies and their policy of not dating students. Complain about Cafeteria Food- 8hrs Continue reading →
Level 36 is here (woohoo!) and with it comes the Springfield Museum of Natural History, a new premium building for your town. I’m sure you’re asking “Should I Spend Donuts on This?”….well before you hit that confirm button, let’s break down the Pros and Cons of adding the Museum to your Springfield.
Building Name: Springfield Museum of Natural History
Donut Price: 100 Donuts
Payout: $500 & 45XP every 24hrs Dimensions: 13×8
Conform-O-Meter Points: Indolence +10
-Looks nice. Good fit in a downtown area with the Springfield Wax Museum & the Knowledgeum
-Pays out a decent rate of $500 every 24hrs.
-Will add to your Indolence rating, so you don’t have to house farm to max out your rating.
Cons: -It’s a big building, will take up a lot of precious land.
-No quest unlocks with it.
-No Characters use it
Final: This is one of those buildings I would tell you to pass on, unless you have an abundance of donuts. While it looks cool it really doesn’t provide much value to your Springfield. I would save your donuts for a different building or character. So unless you’re a completest, or you’ve already purchased everything else, save your donuts on this one tappers!
