Addicts Asylum Patient Zero here…back with another one of my “hare”-brained schemes. I have decided to blow up my town and start from scratch. Again. Lol. Crazy, right? Well…it gets worse (or better depending how you look at it). I am putting my town in YOUR hands. Yes…YOU…the Readers. Scared now? I know I am. 😛
I believe it says in the good book, The Geek shall inherit the Earth or something like that. Well, if that’s true… this post is all about a character waiting for one heck of an inheritance. Hello there Addicts, Wookiee back with another character post. For this one, I decided it was only right to embrace my nerd roots and write about the Uber nerd himself, BEHOLD… EXELSIOR… Martin Prince, Jr.
With all of the new Thanksgiving premium items that are limited-time it may be overwhelming trying to decide which items to buy and what to pass on. With that limited-time label on items I know it can be tempting to just buy everything you can. But, have no fear! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth your donuts & what you might want to hold off on.
Thanksgiving has arrived in Springfield! But, with all of the new Thanksgiving premium items that are limited-time it may be overwhelming trying to decide which items to buy and what to pass on. With that limited-time label on items I know it can be tempting to just buy everything you can. But, have no fear! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth your donuts & what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the Pow-Wow Casino Sign to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button, let’s break down the Pros and Cons of adding this to your Springfield. Decoration: Pow-Wow Casino Sign Donut Price: 40 donuts Unique?: Yes Bonus: 2% (bonus cash and XP to all tasks) Bonus % Per Donut Spent: 0.05% Conform-o-Meter Points: 300 Vanity Where Can I Place It?: Can be placed on your main Springfield only (ie Grass and Pavement)
Final Thought: The bonus rate on this is quite high, and definitely one of the higher bonus rates per donut spent in the game. However, it is a sign for the Indian Casino. So if you don’t plan on purchasing the Pow-Wow Casino (check out the should I buy here) my advice would be to skip this one. However, if you do purchase the Pow-Wow Casino this will make a nice addition to the building.
What do you think? Will you be paying 40 donuts for the Pow Wow Casino Sign? Will you be purchasing the Pow-Wow Casino?
Enjoying gambling? You didn’t mortgage your home did you? Put your kids up as collateral? YOU DID??!!! Well…ummm…you may need more than just our Addicts Anon class then. 😛
Well Bunny is back again…or am I front…or off to the side? I am HERE to tell you about that cool new building EA gifted us with for the Turkey Day event. Caesar’s Pow-Wow Casino. Just where in the Simpsons world is it?
I started making 2D art in my town from being inspired by the cool and different things I saw in other neighbors during the Whacking Day Event in May when I started. I loved the thought of creating and designing one of a kind things to make my town stand out from the rest.
Here I am months later, still enjoying the creative process of challenging myself to make something recognizable out of silly items like mailboxes, stop signs, and dumpsters. Makes me giggle just saying that. Now though, I am more wanting to help and hope to inspire others to start on their own creative path. I LOVE seeing art from all my neighbors. Watching them learn and grow just like I did. Love seeing designs come to life within their towns.
Back with another Thanksgiving Event Walkthrough! This time we’re going to look at the Premium Quest that unlocks when you purchase Caesar’s Pow-Wow Casino. We’ve already brought you the Turbo Tappin’ version of this walkthrough and now it’s time for the full dialogue walkthrough!
The walkthrough starts after you’ve purchase the casino and unlocked the Tribal Chief character…. New Character Unlock! Continue reading →

Wondering if you should add the Mayflower to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button, let’s break down the Pros and Cons of adding this store to your Springfield.
Pros: -3.00% bonus money and XP to all Jobs.
-The sound of canons firing when you tap on it. The flags whipping in the wind.
-A GIANT SHIP FOR YOUR SQUIDPORT!!! EEEEEEEEEE!
Cons: -Not associated with any characters or tasks.
-Fairly expensive for only a 3.00% increase to your overall net.
Final Thought: I personally just REALLY like just the look of it and that for me is reason enough to buy it. However, If you’re saving your donuts for something with more options and “bang for your buck”, save them for something else (Casino comes with a character and tasks). So unless you’re a completest or you want a giant ship for your Squidport, I think you would want to wait to buy this as EA lists it as a “NEW” item and not limited. So you have time to think.
Thanksgiving has arrived in Springfield! This Limited-Time event will only be around a short while (we’re guessing it’ll be gone by December 1st), so make sure you get those Limited-Timedecorations and buildings while they’re still around! For a little extra incentive let’s take a look at how the new additions to Tapped Out will impact your Conform-O-Meter.
The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and XP from everything you collect in the game. When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town. If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.
While the Thanksgiving event brought no changes to the Conform-O-Meter requirements, it did bring us a ton of new items to add to our Springfield. Let’s take a look at how all of the new “goodies” impact our rating:
Caesar’s Pow-Wow Indian Casino
Caesar’s Pow-Wow Sign
Santa’s Little Helper Balloon
Snowball 2 Balloon
*Note: We believe the Mayflower is not a limited-time item.
Because it is a very decoration heavy event, just about every item impacts your vanity rating. However, the Indian Casino will impact your Consumerism Rating (one of the hardest to max out in the game). It’s always nice to have a NEW building to impact Consumerism!
