1-29-14 In-Game Update: Super Bowl Sunday

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Logged into my TSTO this morning to see this GLORIOUS Screen:
It appears EA has graced us with a little Super Bowl Sunday mini-update! (Shameless FOX plug…I’m sure but I don’t mind 🙂 )
Update auto-starts with a dialogue between Homer and Lisa and then both Homer and Lisa have to be free for a 1 hr task.

Addicts How To: Take A Clean Image/Picture

Hey there Hoppy Tappers. Bunny jumping on by with another few quick tips in taking a good/clean picture to add to your collection, show off, download to Flickr, make a giant stitched image, etc.

We get many submissions daily to all of our outlet resources. Some I REALLY like, but they can be a little hard to see everything that is cool going on in the pictures at times with all the extra stuff going on in forefront (ie: the menu items). To make a clean image, it is just a matter of waiting a few more seconds BEFORE you take that screenshot to allow for the information and menu items to disappear from the screen (if you are in your movement screen, the information won’t disappear). This makes it easier also if you want to use any images for stitching apps or just to stitch in general. (As far as taking a screenshot, you can click the link HERE for more info.)

After waiting approx 30 seconds for menu items to disappear…

I understand that for some devices this may be difficult due to the button you press may make the menu items reappear or the volume icon to show.

So there you go, a simple thing to do to make your images all nice and pretty so everyone can see all the cool stuff going on.

Well, it’s another day at Addicts and another where did THAT come from just for you. As often happens, life imitates art. I have friends I’ve made through this game from all over. Some use certain characters as avatars and every time I see Otto or Kearney or Frink in my town, I think of them. Even some of the buildings remind me of my buddies. One that always reminds me of one of my pals is the Sunsphere. He actually lives in that general vicinity and sees it all the time and I think it’s so cool that a piece of TSTO connects to real life for everyone blessed to be connected to this awesome guy.

Upcoming Springfield Showoff Reminder

Episode Recap: Specs and the City

Here I sit, ready to KRAM your ear holes with another new TV Episode for the Simpsons. I find it amusing that I am here in the east, not too far away from where the actual Superbowl will take place (but can’t stay in the hotel I want due to they jacked up the prices cuz there is a football game RIGHT next door…pssssh. Stupid people wanting to get rich.)

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

How are my favorite Tappers this evening? Did y’all enjoy your weekend? Going a little crazy with no real football today? Get any home improvement projects done at home? Any Tapping? Did YOU bury any Bunnies in the snow because they escaped from the basement again?!

Anyway….it IS Sunday and you know what that means, right? No, not a day for hangover recovering…unless you’ve been drinking Bunny’s “water”. It’s time for another Sunday Night Open Thread!

Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

So…here is your Sunday Night Open Thread. There’s an all new episode of the Simpsons on tonight, “Specs and the City”, on FOX. The NFL Pro Bowl is on NBC tonight (7:30pm EST), BORING…oh wait is that just me? Valentine’s Day update may hit our games this week. And 17 days till Pitchers and Catchers report to MLB Spring Training. So talk about the new episode, the Pro Bowl, Valentine’s Day…or S.A.D, Spring Training….or anything else you want to talk about.
